Salgados

Opened in September 1994. Located in Vale da Parra, approximately 5km west of Albufeira
it is a Links
course which is compact yet offers a test of skill and accuracy for the
golfer due mainly to the amount of water in play (approximately 14 holes).
There is a small pro-shop, a good driving range, putting green, chipping green, practice
bunker, academy, Club House, trolley & buggy hire.

Balaia Golf Village

Situated 2 kilometres to the east of Albufeira, this is more than just a pitch
and putt. This is a testing Par 3 course ideal for sharpening up your short
game, or for the beginner without a handicap.
There is a Resident Professional, Golf academy with lessons in English,
Portuguese and German, 40 + bay driving range, 3 quality putting greens,
pitching area, locker rental, club & trolley hire.

Situated
5km west of Portimão this Championship Standard Course has tight fairways with concealed water a frequent hazard. Penina has hosted the Portuguese Open
recently and is a great test.

Alto Club

Midway between Alvor and Portimão, this gently undulating course between the
Monchique hills and the Atlantic is the most recent of Henry Cotton’s
designs. It has the longest par 5 in Europe at 604m. Ideally situated to
play with Penina, Palmaras and Boa Vista.

Morgado

This is a brand new course (open in 2005) set behind the Penina courses, halfway to the Monchique
hills. Wide open fairways, fairly level, lots of bunkers protecting the
greens. Nice clubhouse, generally quiet as not yet well known.

Vale da Pinta

Beautifully laid out course with spectacular golfing holes. Designed by
American architect Ronald Fream. Nearly all the centuries old olive trees
were retained on this attractive course. Vale da Pinta shares the same
clubhouse as Quinta do Gramacho and is an ideal venue for those wishing to
play two courses in one day.

be an 18 hole round of golf played on nine fairways, this has now changed

Vale do Milho
As with 'Balaia', this is a
testing Par 3, 9 hole course located in the residential area of Carvoeiro
known as Vale do Milho. The course has 2 sets of tees, a Par
54 land lengths of 926 & 919 (2nd time around)

Parque da Floresta

16 km west of Lagos this course is built on sloping uplands with wonderful
views of the western Algarve.
The facilities on the complex are exceptional with superb swimming pools and

Boa Vista

Opened in February 2002, situated just to the west of the ancient town of
Lagos. Breathtaking views, spectacular scenery and the Atlantic ocean which
is visible from most holes.

San Lourenço

6,238m South of Almancil in the Quinta do Lago estate.
A beautiful course adjoining the Ria Formosa nature reserve. Opened in 1988,
this course has the reputation of being 'simply the best' and recently
listed as the second best course in Europe. 1st priority given to Dona
Filipa Hotel and Penina Hotel Clubhouse,
showers, changing rooms, restaurant, bar, pro-shop, driving range, putting
green, chipping green, academy, club, trolley, powakaddy & buggy hire. Soft
spikes are
required and can be fitted before play.

Pinheiros Altos

20km west of Faro airport on the Quinta do Lago. Pinheiros Altos also
benefits from the adjoining Ria Formosa nature reserve where bird life and
exotic plants abound. The first nine holes are in an undulating, pine
covered landscape with the back nine in a contrasting lakeside setting.

Quinta do Lago

3km south of Almancil, this world class championship course has hosted the
Portuguese Open on several occasions. The holes meander through the
spectacular pine forest, in one of the last unspoilt coastal zones in

Vale do Lobo Ocean
Originally designed by the
last Sir Henry Cotton which have now been combined into the Ocean Course.
Formerly the orange and green nine hole courses. Several of the old orange
course holes run along the beautiful white sandy beach and Atlantic ocean.

Vale do Lobo Royal
A new nine holes have been
added to the original yellow nine holes. The 16th is the world famous hole
across a deep ravine from the cliff top tee with the ocean and beach below.
The new holes have been cut through the pine forest and several have
greenside lakes.

Vilamoura Pinhal

Opened in 1976 as the Dom Pedro Course and then reconstructed in 1985 under
Robert Trent Jones Jnr, Pinhal is now a wider, more open fairways than the
Old Course but smaller greens ensure that accurate approach shots are
required. 1st 9 holes on open land with magnificent sea views. 2nd 9 holes
wind home through umbrella pines climbing gently towards the clubhouse. Pro

Vilamoura Laguna

Vilamoura Victoria

Opened in 2004, the course is laid out in amongst no fewer than 22 lakes
totalling about 11 hectares in surface area and interconnected by several
waterfall features. The 8th is the Victoria's signature hole. Its is a 519
metre par-5 and a number of waterfalls gush from below the green towards the
tees on the righthand side of the fairway.

Halfway between Vilamoura and Albufeira and overlooking Falesia beach.
Combines a delightful course with 5* complex and amenities. The course is
very interesting, especially the par 3 9th, from the back tee, this demands
a fearless shot over a ravine, to a tricky undulating green. Pro shop,
