offers its client the option to pre-booking
holiday transportation with
'AutoJardim'. Payment will be made
directly to AutoJardim
upon arrival & collection of your vehicle, and can be made by credit card or
in Euros.
You will be asked by the vehicle supplier to agree
to the following conditions:

An Road tax of €1.00 per day will be supported by the Supplier.

Baby
Seats:

May also be supplied on request.
The cost for these will be €5.00 per day charged directly to
the client maximum €70.00 per rental.

Passenger
Insurance:
|
May
also be supplied by AutoJardim. The
costs for this will be €4.50 per day charged directly to the client.
|
|
Additional
Driver:
|
For
each additional driver mentioned on the Rental Agreement there will be an
additional charge of €18.00 direct to the client.
|
|
Young
Drivers:
|
All
drivers between 21 and 25 years old must pay directly to AutoJardim an
additional tax of €4.00 per day.
|
| Roof Racks:
|
Can be fitted to certain cars (please enquire) for a fee of
€6.00
per
day
with the minimum charge being €18.00 and maximum of €84.00. |
| Vehicle
Delivery: |
At our
discretion, and for reservations made at particular villas, it may be
possible to deliver vehicle(s) directly to the villas. In these cases we
will not guarantee a delivery time but will endeavour to make the
vehicle(s) available as soon as possible to clients. |

To
be covered by Insurance, Drivers must be duly mentioned on the Rental Agreement.
The
client (whether driver or not) is always responsible for a 'bail' of the amount of
€600.00 for Groups A, B and C, €1200.00 for Groups D and E, I
& J, €1800.00 for Groups F, G, H and N and €2500.00
for the remaining
groups - in the case of a self-provoked accident, in case of damages caused
by acts of vandalism, in the case of theft of the vehicle or of theft of any of its
accessories, and as long as the driver is unable to identify the guilty party.
This
payment must be made upon delivery of the car, in cash (Portuguese or Foreign
currency) or by credit card imprint. The
'bail' will be refunded to the client at the end of the rental, so long as no accident has taken place,
& as long as no damages have been caused to the
vehicle by acts of vandalism, theft of the vehicle or of any of its
accessories.
The
aforementioned situation can only be eliminated with the payment of an insurance
of €8.50 per day for Group A, B, C, €10.00 per day for
Groups D, E, I and J, and €15.00 per day for Groups F, G, H & N, and
€20.00 for the remaining Groups. This amount has to be paid by the client when receiving
the vehicle if they wish to 'waiver' the 'bail' amount described above.
In
case of accident by fault of the client, & taking into consideration Portuguese
Law, insurance companies decline any or all responsibility for that driver of all
damages caused to the hired vehicle or to Third Parties whenever it is detected
that the driver was driving under the influence of Alcohol, Narcotics, Drugs or
Toxic products or by insanity of the driver.
Also if the client uses the car is sportive competitions, races, or
challenges, contests, bets, etc..
We
also must inform clients that even if the car's driver is not under
the influence of any of the above items but by any means also destroys the
rented car
by his own fault 'Autojardim' will not refund any amount for the time left to complete
the rental and will only give another car upon receipt of a larger 'bail' that may cover
eventual damages that can be caused to the new car.
It is important that clients read and understand
these 'Terms & Conditions' - if you do not, or have further questions then
please contact us for more clarification. If you take possession of a rental
vehicle it is upon acceptance of these 'Terms & Conditions'.
Note:
For each delivery or collection outside of our normal hours at Airports a fee
of €17.00 will be charged directly to the client.
Normal hours are 06.00am to 24.00pm.
Even during normal hours, excluding the Algarve, Airports or place where
we have offices a fee of €0.50 per Kilometre will be charged from
our nearest office.
