Lagos is a picturesque resort that boasts some of the most outstanding beaches in the region, many of which nestle at the foot of breathtakingly rugged cliffs and all of which are blessed with an abundance of sun-baked golden sands. Our villas and apartments are often found within easy walking distance of these beaches where our guests can enjoy a range of watersports, including some of the best surfing in the Western Algarve. Just a little further up the coast, at Carapateira, many international surfing competitions are held on beaches that seem to stretch for miles!
If surfing is not for you, Lagos offers an abundance of opportunities for hiking, mountain biking and horse-riding for those who enjoy the landscape, and for those who enjoy a leisurely walk across it, there is an uncompromising selection of some of the finest golf courses to be found anywhere on the Algarve.
