Algarve Property of the Week - A lovely Lagoa Apartment.... Contrary to most high-rise buildings that seem to be shooting up en-masse across the Algarve, this week's property of the week is situated in a charming little building in the city of Lagoa, a small, personalised structure converted from what was once the town's former open-air cinema.

This sunny two bedroom apartment is south facing, located on the first floor, centrally situated in Lagoa.

It is within walking distance of all main amenities, a five minute drive to the idyllic fisherman's village of Carvoeiro, it's beaches and golf courses, and is 20 minutes drive to Portimão or Albufeira.

Its positioning offers a great location, without being overpriced.

Through the building's main door and foyer there is a courtyard, which leads on to the main building. Here, there are stairs and lifts to reach the apartment.

Inside, through the front door, we enter a large, spacious hallway, large enough to accommodate a home office or more voluminous pieces of furniture.

It has a fitted storage cupboard, wooden ceilings and inset spotlighting.

Left from the hall is a storage room, and first right is a generously sized family bathroom, nicely finished with quality materials and decorative tiles.

Past the family bathroom is the first of the two bedrooms; a good-sized double, with fitted wardrobes and a large window.

Opposite is the master bedroom, another good size double, complete with two sets of fitted wardrobes, a big en-suite bathroom complete with a hydro-massage bathtub, and patio doors to a spacious balcony that extends along the full length of the apartment's façade. Both bedrooms have easy-to-clean laminate flooring.

This balcony is also accessed from the kitchen and the living/ dining room.

Straight ahead from the front door, through a set of wood and glass double doors, is the living/ dining area.

In-between the living/dining room and the master bedroom is the kitchen. Light and bright and fully integrated, it offers ample room and lots of storage space, finished with remarkably decorative fruit-inspired wall-tiles.

On the whole the apartment is spacious, fresh and sunny, with lightwood finishes, cream floor tiles and light cream coloured walls.

It is pre-installed for air conditioning, has a handy central vacuuming system, and is fully double-glazed.

Two private underground garage spaces are allocated for future owners, per apartment.

It is presently on the market for €150,000.00, unfurnished.
