Marcello Passaro, Year 13 student, took the
part of Father Christmas and was very
popular with the small children. The Junior
School produced the most beautiful baskets
full of fantastic products that were then
auctioned by Amanda Jones, Assistant Head of
the Junior School. Some raised over €100 per
basket! The highlight of the afternoon was
when Richard Sawyer, a Senior School teacher
announced the prizes for the raffle, which
included great sponsors such as Abreu, El
Corte Ingles and Pestana Pousadas. The
students were particularly involved this
year in raising money for charities,
organising games and activities.
The final amount raised was in excess of
€5,000.
