Situated in the beautiful, historical centre of Lagos,
the school is small and friendly, offering a
non-intimidating personal touch that aims to make
learning Portuguese fun.
Whatever your skills and linguistic capability, there
are courses for all needs – from absolute beginners, of
all ages, to specific courses for professional needs.
Lagos Language Centre's Portuguese courses for
foreigners continue to be extremely popular.
Group courses are conversation-based and aim to have
people speaking Portuguese as quickly as possible, which
can be testified by a lot of happy past students.
The teachers are friendly and always explain things
in English when necessary.
Most popular is the 30-lesson group course for
beginners, for a minimum of four and a maximum of eight
students.
The Next course starts Monday, 29th October and
finishes Friday, 30th November. Six lessons are taught
per week for a duration of five weeks.
A Standard timetable for this course is as follows:
lessons are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays,
from 11h10 – 13h00. Each lesson is 50 minutes, so the
first lesson will run from 11h10 – 12h00h, followed by a
10-minute interval for coffee or tea in the school, then
the second lesson, from 12h10 – 13h00.
The cost of the afore-mentioned course entails a €20
enrolment fee, €240 for the course, €21 for a course
book and a workbook at €10.50.
Through the year, group lessons are also held for
Intermediate level.
Alternatively, Individual lessons are available,
which are ideal for people who prefer not to be in a
group or for those who need specific material for their
work.
Individual lessons cost €26 euros per lesson, plus
enrolment fees and books as mentioned above.
Lagos Language School is currently offering a special
promotion where for just €26, for an individual lesson,
two people can study together, perfect for couples,
friends or for people from the same company, office or
business.
There is specific tuition to help English-speaking
pupils integrate into Portuguese schools, as well as
lessons in other languages, and evening courses.
