Terrain: good tracks but some parts are quite stony. Footwear: something sturdy. Equipment: Please bring water and a sense of humour. There is no need to book just come along and have a great time! Cost 5 euro p.p. which includes a donation to charity 10.30am start - meet at the Belo Horizonte bar. Exit the A22 at the Lagos/Odiaxere turn off and at the roundabout go left to Odiaxere and in the centre of the village turn left at the lights signed ‘the Barragem'.

Follow the signs and road to the Barragem for about 5km when you will pass a road to the right to Monte Ruivo, ignore this and about 200m further on you will see the Belo Horizonte off on the righthand side. Walk leaders: Peter Lammin & Julie Statham (282 697 298 or 965 753 033).
