Fuel prices hit
record highs....
The cost of filling up
a car in Portugal has hit new highs. While the sale of
diesel-powered cars has reached an all-time high, the cost per litre
of this fuel has risen much higher than that of unleaded fuel, and
in four years, its cost per litre has almost doubled.

125,000 homes for

According to data released this week, 125,000 properties are
currently for sale in Portugal, with 70 percent of the total being
used homes. In 2006, more than 64,000 new homes were built, down
