Jardim da Meia Praia is set in a tranquil location approximately 5 minutes drive from the centre of Lagos, and within walking distance of one of the finest beaches on the Algarve. The 44 three bedroom apartments and 22 two and three bedroom townhouses are set in beautifully landscaped gardens and around a large outdoor pool. The resort provides an excellent location to relax whilst offering a great base from which to explore the historic town of Lagos, and the rest of the Algarve.
The resort is within 1 hours drive of Faro International airport, and Lagos is famous for its many beautiful beaches, golf courses, fine restaurants and of course, its wonderful coastline!
Alternatively, why not try the resort’s Restaurant Destinowhich is tucked within the landscaped gardens. It offers a wide selection of snacks, pizzas, light bites and a daily lunch and dinner menu, all within a family-friendly environment. Lagos is an interesting town with a maze of winding cobbled streets full of pavement restaurants, café bars, antique and art shops – a town of culture and history.
For children Jardim da Meia Praia offers a children’s play area, a small children’s pool and a Kids’ Activities Club during the summer holidays. Bigger kids and adults alike can use the tennis court, and if you have always wanted to scuba dive, join our professional PADI instructors for a “try-dive” in the outdoor pool (during the summer months).
This old fishing village manages to combine the charm of it’s past days, with all the demands of a modern holiday destination, and the modern Marina in the town provides an entrance to one of the most popular destinations on the Algarve

Jardim da Meia Praia is an exclusive resort of 2 & 3 bedroom Townhouses & 3 bedroom Apartments. The 2 bedroom Townhouses have 1 double bedroom & 1 twin bedroom sharing a full bathroom, with a guest cloakroom located in the entrance hall. The 3 bedroom Townhouses and Apartments have 1 Master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and 2 twin bedrooms sharing a second bathroom.

The outdoor pool area has plenty of sun beds giving you space to enjoy the wonderful weather or to relax under the large sun umbrellas, and the poolside snack bar is there to offer dinks and snacks.
A regular courtesy bus runs between Jardim da Meia Praia, Lagos town centre and the sister resort of Estrela da Luz> in Praia da Luz, giving our guests ample opportunity to explore Lagos, Luz, and other areas of the Western Algarve. Guests at Jardim da Meia Praia are welcome to try out the luxurious Estrela Health & Beauty Facility, and Oceânico’s restaurants; Estrela do Mar in Lagos & Hugo Beaty Bar & Café at Estrela da Luz.
Kids’ Activities Club
During the summer Jardim da Meia Praia offers a range of children’s activities and sports for children aged 4-12 years. The emphasis is on FUN and depending on their age, the children will take part in activities such as arts and crafts and organised team games. (Note: the club runs 3 mornings per week at Estrela da Luz and 2 mornings per week at Jardim da Meia Praia)
Scuba Diving at Jardim da Meia Praia
If you have always wanted to scuba dive, join our professional PADI instructors for a “try-dive” in the outdoor pool (during the summer only) at Jardim da Meia Praia (shuttle bus available fromEstrela da Luz>). Your instructor will teach you some simple skills and you can experience controlled diving in the safety of a pool. From there you can move onto your first dive experience in the Atlantic Ocean if you dare.
Summer Barbeques
Jardim da Meia Praia hosts regular summer evening barbeques with live musical entertainment – these are an excellent opportunity to meet other guests, or to simply enjoy an evening with organised entertainment and food if you wish.

Children’s Play Areas
The resort has a children’s play areas with slides and climbing frames set within its own dedicated space.
Tennis Courts
The use of the tennis courts is FREE but bookings must be made in advance at Reception. A set of tennis rackets with tennis balls can also be hired from Reception.
Gym Facilities
Although Jardim da Meia Praia does not have its own Health & Beauty facility, guests are invited to use the facility at the sister resort of Estrela da Luz>, in Praia da Luz, and benefit from a 50% reduction in gym membership prices.
