Covering some 23 hectares, eleven of which are landscaped, ‘Rocha Brava‘ is just 2.5km from the centre of the fishing village, and approximately 45 minutes from Faro airport.

The accommodation at ‘Rocha Brava‘ is offered as a series of villa, apartment, or townhouse types, and clients can choose between either the ‘Standard’ or ‘Superior’ classes. The ‘Superior’ class properties have air-conditioning as standard, and also enjoy Ocean views. The ‘Standard’ class properties will not necessarily have an Ocean view, and air-conditioning is upon prior request. ‘Rocha Brava’offers 1, 2, & 3 bedroom apartments & townhouses, and 3 & 4 bedroom villas with private pools.

Centianes beach is within easy walking distance, and you will have use of all resort facilities, including the 3 pools (one of which is heated through the winter), 4 tennis courts (and tennis school); Children’s Club; Games room and the new Fitness Centre (supplements payable in all cases). Local to Carvoeiro are two golf resorts, a horse riding centre & water park – all of which are within just a few minutes drive of ‘Rocha Brava‘

‘Rocha Brava‘ consists of 410 units which are set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens with the ‘Luxury Units’ enjoying fabulous views of the Atlantic Ocean. There is a mini-market on ‘Rocha Brava‘, and two others just a 2 minute walk from the development. There is also the ‘Farol‘ restaurant, a snack bar and coffee shop, and a Health & Beauty Centre on the complex, with an excellent selection of bars and restaurants well within walking distance of ‘Rocha Brava‘ itself. ‘Centianes‘ beach is just 1km away, which is a pleasant walk through the gardens and cliff front, and the beach in Carvoeiro village can also be walked to, or reached by a short car, shuttle bus, or taxi journey.

Central to ‘Rocha Brava‘ is the principal pool area which is large and surrounded by gardens and sunbathing terraces. There is a pool side ‘Palm Bar’ which sells drinks and ice creams, and this adjoins the ‘Pool Balcony‘ of the ‘Farol‘ restaurant, which offers an extensive à la carte menu as well as a variety of international and typically Portuguese dishes. There is also live music three times each week which makes for enjoyable listening whilst dining. The restaurants is open for lunch and dinner for most periods of the year and has an interior decorated with lots of ‘typical’ charm and character. ‘Farol‘ looks out onto the principal pool, and is the chosen setting for parents who wish to relax, and keep a watchful eye on the children
