Within walking distance of Carvoeiro, and located midway between the village and Vale do Milho (another very popular residential area of Carvoeiro) is the holiday rental accommodation area known as Areias dos Moinhos. This is a perfect spot for those who wish to take advantage of the village, with its seemingly endless opportunities for sport, leisure, recreation and entertainment, without having to be situated right in the middle of town.

Here you will not be too far away from any of the amenities or facilities which make Carvoeiro so popular. Areias dos Moinhos is best described as a residential cluster of privately owned properties which are mainly second homes, and therefore often made available for rental to our clients. Almost all of the properties have their own private swimming pools, so you can relax around the pool with your breakfast, giving each day a relaxed, refreshing and comfortable start, or sit around in the evening with a glass of local wine and watch the sun setting over the Algarvean coastline. There are also tennis courts within the development, which can be used by our clients staying in one of our Areias dos Moinhos villas.

However, it is the beaches of Carvoeiro that really attract visitors to Areias dos Moinhos properties. The beaches are within walking distance, with the beautiful beaches of Carvoeiro and Centianes both accessible within 15 minutes on foot. The beaches are not only a fantastic places to relax in the sun, top up your tan and enjoy a dip, but also the base for many boat trips up the coast, which are ideal for sightseeing, deep sea fishing or scuba diving excursions. This stretch of coastline is also famous for its sailing and windsurfing, equipment and tuition for which are available from the Carvoeiro seafront and many local experts.

Golfers are equally well catered for, and if you have rented one of our villas in Areias dos Moinhos, there is a selection of super courses all within a 20 minute drive of the development. For the family as a whole, Zoomarine Park, Slide & Splash Waterworld, and several other family orientated destinations are also within a short drive of this residential area of Carvoeiro. Why not take a day out to swim with the dolphins, or splash around on the flumes and slides, then return to the privacy of your villa to relax, unwind, and enjoy an evening of al fresco dining alongside your own private pool.
