Another favorite area of Carvoeiro for our clients is Sesmarias, which is located on the northern side of the town, and approximately 4km from the centre of the village itself. Dotted amongst the residential developments we have an excellent collection of properties to suit all budgets and demands.
We can offer 3 and 4 bedroom villas with private pools, and also one or two larger properties well suited for larger groups of guests. Sesmarias has a selection of bars and restaurants to choose from, as well as mini-markets and other shopping facilities. To the north of the enclave is the Monchique mountains (which provide a wonderful backdrop to many of our villas in the area), and to the south is the Atlantic Ocean itself. S

Carvoeiro Tennis Club is within walking distance of most of our properties here, and although you will need a car to get to most of the beaches – either in Carvoeiro or Ferragudo – this is the perfect spot for a family vacation. Whether you've planned a quietly romantic break away with your loved one or have hoped for a fun-packed vacation that the whole family will love - with so many opportunities for recreation and relaxation on the doorstep of your holiday accommodation in Sesmarias Village, people of all ages and interests are sure to find something to appeal to them even if that simply means spending an entire fortnight around the pool!
Within walking distance of a stunning beach and the fabulous sport, leisure and spa facilities that are available at the exclusive Carvoeiro Clube de Tenis, villa and apartment rentals in Sesmarias Village will give you the opportunity to park the car and relax, unless you wish to journey out and explore the incredible natural, cultural and historical diversity of the region. Golf is never far away in the Algarve, and Sesmarias is home to the Pinta and Gramacho courses, now considered to be two of the finest in the region. We find that many of our clients enjoy the rural or cliff walks available and it is possible to walk from one end of Carvoeiro to the other without leaving the side of the Ocean. We also find that our clients staying in the popular ‘Cabeça das Pias’ residential area enjoy the local restaurants, including the excellent ‘Bon Bon’ which is located close to many of our villas.
